Brij the Gap delivers! While working at Facebook and serving as the Learning Partner, I noticed that our underrepresented employees had different experiences at our company than majority employees. [Brij the Gap] designed and led a 4-week program that got right to the core of the experience and she shared tangible resources, templates, assets, etc. that helped our employes take empowered action. I’ve been working with Devika Brij for some time now, and she always comes through. I first leveraged her expertise when I was Morgan Stanley’s Head of DEI for their U.S. Banks business. In my role now as VP/Head of DEI for Saks, Devika delivered this session to Saks employees from diverse communities, different parts of the business, & levels. Some of our employees said her session was the best they’ve received while at our company. Devika is professional, flexible, easy to work with, & does a great job of working with you to deliver what’s needed for your organization.

I was a client of Devika’s as the DEI leader at BCG where she facilitated Brij the Gap’s 4 week career advancement accelerator for our ERG members. The feedback from the accelerator was very positive with participants saying they’d recommend the accelerator to a peer. Two major themes of feedback includes Devika’s ability to tailor the program to the company’s specific context and creating psychologically safe spaces for program participants to connect and share experiences. I cannot recommend Devika enough!

I partnered with Devika and Brij the Gap to offer a development program for our high potential ethnically diverse talent in Europe. We had been offering this program to our colleagues in North America, but I hypothesized that the program could be adapted for Europe and have an equally big impact. My hypothesis was correct- I was thrilled to see the feedback for the program come back so overwhelmingly positive. Devika was a great partner and was really keen to learn more about Europe and how we think and talk about under-representation and diversity. I would not hesitate to partner with Devika again.

In 2021, our Great Place to Work Black ERG invited Devika to lead her Mastering the Art of Self Advocacy workshop… There was so much power packed into Devika's thoughtful, insightful and actionable workshop. Based on the workshop's success, we took what was shared to develop a plan for each member to ensure they were working towards achieving their personal self-advocacy goals. Everyone now has a reusable framework they can leverage to keep themselves accountable.
